Do you recognise these people?
I have managed to re-establish contact with some of my fellow travellers and friends from 1975.
In some cases social media and professional networks have proved to be remarkably helpful. Unfortunately a small number of people remain untraceable, which is not helped by my never knowing their full family names.
I hope, that through this website I will be able to make connect with some of these people, either directly or through their friends and family. They came from Germany, Switzerland, Pakistan, Australia and New Zealand.
While some are clearly shown in the following photographs, for others I am only able to provide a short written description of where they lived and when.
These are the people I would like to contact, but unfortunately I have no photographs to share:
John and Sue Housden, last heard of living in Tehran up until 1978.
The previous owners of 'Ferdi', last heard of living in Maida Vale in 1974 before returning home to New Zealand.
The family with a holiday home in Hawkes Bay, Karachi. The mother was German and worked for the Goethe-Institut in Karachi and the father was from Pakistan and worked for Pak Petrol. Last heard of in 1975.
